What you think about these prom colors?

My Prom date and i had a recent conversation about the colors we have in mind to wear to prom so far the colors i chose was white and pastel green, black and silver white and lavender (pastel purple), and then i said white and silver he believe silver is to bright for prom.... do u think so? or should gray be better since its kinda dull.....also any prom colors is recommended thanx n advance : ) ( :
