I have dark brown eyes, a light-medium skin tone (but I don't tan in the sun mind u instead I burn) & dark brown hair. I also wear thin-rimmed metallic purple gles 24/7 (if that matters when it comes to makeup). I've heard that girls should change up their makeup routines as the seasons change and I would agree to that declaration-if you will. I tried doing research on my own to try and find out what hues would go well with my eye color and skin tone but I kept getting mixed messages on what colors are the right ones. Why does the top 16th to 1/4 inch of water trapped in my canvas boat tarp freeze at temps above freezing ?

I have a boat that is covered with a canvas tarp that has water trapped in it from a previous winter rain. That water freezes at temps just below 40 degrees fahrenheit actually around 37 to 40 degrees. There is water right next to this in a plastic bucket that does not freeze, and also standing water on the concrete etc... that will not freeze. The only things around that get frost or frozen is the water in the tarp, the top of my car, shingles on the roof and the gr. So why will the water in the canvas tarp freezes above 32 degrees but the water in the plastic wont. I don't understand this. thanks for any answers. The air is usually very still on these nights and the skies are cleara and crisp, this is at sea level I live right on the coast, (Santa Monica, CA ). Does the material that the air come into contact with help to lower the temp a bit just above the specific materials(canvas, gr, etc...)?

Can somebody help me with my dog?

She's a Chihuahua/Toy Terrier & she got loose & got pregnant by a Jack Russell on August 8th. She's about 8 yrs old & she's at the point that she hasn't eaten anything in about 1 1/2 weeks. She's just now got to where she'll drink water & hold it down. It's seems like she's starving herself to get rid of her puppies, but in the process she's nothing but bones now. Any idea what's wrong with my car?

I have a 95 Taurus wagon. For the past week or so, when I turn the ignition key, there is a brief rushing sound of liquid, seemingly under the hood. Nothing else unusual. At first I thought it was just rain water draining off somewhere, but today a bigger problem. Drove 20 minutes on highway to do errand, stopped and went inside, came out and big green puddle of antifreeze under car. Jiffy Lube guy next door nicely refilled. Got to garage 2 blocks away, hour before closing. They pressure checked radiator; said no leaks. Something funny is still going on. JiffyLube guy had referenced engine overheating as possible cause of overflow tube spilling antifreeze. I drove back almost entirely backroads to avoid highway, w/eye on temperature gauge to make sure didn't go past 1/2way mark. Kept speed under 50mph, mostly slower. Made it home, but now dilemma of what to do Easter Sunday...risk driving as long as it's backroads, or do I have more to worry about? Always have water jug w/me.

How to relieve stress, I hate my mom?

Sometimes I feel like this, but this by far has been the worst. She always yells at me for not always concentrating my entire mind on school. What kind of Dog is this?

got my dog, Camber, when he was 12 weeks old from the shelter, now he is about 6 months. The shelter said that he could be shepherd, but they dont know what else. They said maybe some kind of hound or mastiff, Cur or great dane. He is already really big, about 55 pounds, and has HUGE feet. and for some reason, he is like...naturally skinny. He eats SO much, but never looks like he puts on any weight, i think it might be one of the breeds he is mixed with or something, he doesnt have worms, we already checked that. He has webbed feet,and he has a REALLY long tail, and black spots on the back of his tongue and the roof is black. Also, when the dogs next door bark at him, my spaniel will start barking back, and then Camber starts to "bay", like a hound, but he also "herds" my sisters dogs, four yorkies, he doesnt bite them or anything, but keeps them in a little herd and barks if they walk away, and then runs them back into the group. He had a Brindle brother at the shelter with him.

Whats up with my coworkers?

i am female, i work with a bunch of guys, alot of people, so a lot of personalities. anyway lately one employee that used to be nice to me started acting like it physically hurt them just to say hi to me. i tried to say hi, just to see what would happened, and they acted annoyed. he did this for a few days, and now they are acting somewhat decent, but i didnt do anything to this person, so i dont know what the problem is. i also stopped talking to a different coworker, becuase they were always moody with me although i was nice to them, they didnt want to help me but would help someone else, i finally got tired of the one day being nice and one day being indifferent. so ijust dont bother with them. another ione i stopped talking too, becuase they are gossipy and tried to involve me in their sneaky plans without my realizing, and it was involving their dissatisfaction with my former manager, and i didnt appreciate that, because i have no problem with that manager, and do not want them to think i gossip about them.a different coworker, who used to be nice to me has also stopped talking to me but i dont know why. they wont say if i did something, and i know i did not intentionally do anything, and they tried to act annoyed with me too. we have just gotten a different manager so i dont know if that has anything to do with it. i dont think the manager's bad tho. i want to ask what the problem is but if these people are just being jerks, i dont want to ask what's wrong becuase then they will just use it to keep drama going, and i dont think i will get an honest answer. should i just cuss them out at the next opportunity? its fine if they dont like me, but they cannot behave rudely to me, especially when they havent said what the problem is. what do you think? thanks in advance for your answers.

Can't airports come up with other alternatives than pat-downs through security checks?

I've seen articles now about those inappropriate touching when going through security checks and even the workers there are searching around the private areas. Didn't the people who ordered those kind of pat-downs even think about how inappropriate that is or how uncomfortable it would make people? How would they like it if they had their groped or their privates felt around? Come on, I know they're trying to make people safe and some have figured out a way around packing explosives in the most obvious like backpacks such as hiding them in their bras and underwears but really, this has gone too far. Even further than what happened on 9/11. Isn't going through security checks supposed to be a bit more comfortable than feeling like you're going through a strip search? Airports are going to lose a lot of travelers if they keep up with this. How come not every airport have a scanner and they go through the inappropriate pat-downs instead? The staff there need to think about not just security but how they make people feel. Right now, it feels like they don't care about how they feel and they're free to grope people wherever they want. Volume control obsolete?

For some reason the gaming computers these days find it useless to have physical volume control with quick access on the side of laptops like they used to have..? Example: My mom bought a new Toshiba computer from Best Buy the other day. The ONLY volume control that's physically able to be manipulated is a VERY annoying pressure sensitive on that beeps according to the level of volume. I've seen this on a lot of the Toshiba models lately. Then on an Asus computer I had seen in Best Buy, the description says it has "Two discrete ons for volume control." Since when does volume control need to be discrete? It's one of the most important parts of a gaming computer! I had to take every precaution after the ice storm since the town had not done any significant salting. The road was tough but ultimately I arrived safely and appretiated having put new tires on my car. However, once I got out of the car I began to wobble and fell right on a rock and broke my femur. 1994 f150 transmission question. Please help?

Hi I have a 1994 f-150 with a 302 and the E4OD transmission with push on overdrive. My transmission is still in my truck its just time to replace it because I lost reverse and its not shifting very well. So I just picked up an E4OD out of a 1993 fullsize bronco. I don't think this transmission has push on overdrive, and the shift linkage and 4WD linkage to the transfercase is different. Will my linkage adapt to the transmission out of the 1993?

I am a D cup and have worn a Braza many, many times. They work for me. I find it best if someone helps me put it on. My husband does not complain! Graphics card problem please help asap?

You need to make sure which graphics gard the slot in your hard drive will take. if your hardrive takes PCI pci express will not work. and if your not certain it will work check a near by Circuit City and have them look up your pc for you. (you need to know the model and make) and by looking at your pc it "should" work because you have a 1x PCI express x16 and thats the graphics cards interface.

I'm 17 years old... my weight is 39 KG and my height is 165 CM... Several times i had a drop in the immunity system and I also have anemia [it kind of comes and goes every year]... I never remember that I've actually been of normal weight since I was 5 years old of something; I remember that at the age of 8 I was about 20 KG. I also have this problem that I never actually get hungry, like I could live for a whole day without eating anything but a piece of candy. In addition to the fact that I feel full after eating very small quantities of food [like two full spoons of fried rice, for example]. I also get taller very quickly but NEVER fatter. Like once I really adjusted my eating pattern, in fact I used to eat a lot at that time, but all what happened is that I kept growing taller during that period! I really need someone to tell me what to eat and in what quantities exactly everyday... because I'm having health problems because of the fact that I'm underweight, and ever small physical effort makes me EXTREMELY exhausted.

Let me begin by saying that I believe I am a very fair landlord. I respect my tenant's privacy and take care of tenant concerns when they come up. I will also say, the tenants in this property do not complain too much about repairs and such...there have been few repair issues since they have lived there, but part of this may be that they simply have not told me about everything. I will also say, one of the tenants in this property is my brother and true to form, he takes advantage of that, paying his rent late every month and just generally making it hard for me to manage the property as I would with most tenants. With that said, two weeks ago (the Friday before the 4th of July weekend), I got a call from him that his power was out. My power was actually out that day at my house, and it was quite hot out which made it especially troubling. Power seemed to be down throughout my city, and I had already called the power company for my own place so I knew that. When my bother told me his power was out, I explained the outage to him, but he was sure his was not an outage bcs only half his lights and outlets were out. The power company had not given him a definitive answer as well. As we were talking the upper tenant called to say the same. Mind you it is Friday night before a holiday...long story short, both of them were so insistent it was not an outage, that I paid an off duty electrician to come by a a higher rate to check it out. He was in and out in about 5 minutes and charged me to reiterate that it was an outage. My brother made the check out to him and contacted today (the day that he paid his July rent!) to ask about reimbursement. I mentioned that I felt him and the upper tenant should shoulder some of the cost bcs I had told them it was an outage but they insisted on an electrician. He was livid. I have not spoken to the other one yet...is this worth the hle or should I just suck it up and pay for it?

Why is my TB starting to be nasty?

Tylenol3 during pregnancy Im so scared!!! I just couldnt take the pain ?

Imcurrently 36 weeks prengnat and for about 5 weeks up until a few days ago I was taking 1-3 tylenol 3(codeine) 150 mg each. for headaches and back pain almost daily without my ob perscribing it I was in the ER twice due to migrains at at 3 months and 5 months pregnant and was given vicodin and tylenol3 but my ob is against narcotics the other night I felt desperate for a tylenol my back was killing me but I felt like I was addicted it was horrible!! So I asked my hubby to hide the jar and Ive been taking regular tylenol Im scared should I tell the ob??? IM worried that my son will be addicted IM having him in about 2 weeks its gonna be a c-section. I had told my perinologist that I have takien ultram a few times during the pregnancy and he said the baby wouldnt be addicted only if I took it in the beginning for like 2 weeks at high doses. I have had a gastric byp. It has been 3 months ago and I have lost 70lbs. But I am not at my goal weight yet. The way I started is I asked my coworkers about it. There are lots of people at work who had it done. The people at work were able to reccomend a doctor to me. I went to a seminar with my doctor. They tell you what the surgery does and the risks. They also give you information about insurance requirements. I had to go on a medically supervised diet and have a psychological exam before I could have surgery. I had the operation and it was the worst pain ever. I was in the hospital 4 days and I had to stay with my parents for a week after the surgery. But its much better now. The operation made my stomach smaller, so I can only eat very small amounts of food. Eating is not as much fun as it was before the operation though. If you eat sugar, you start feeling sick really quickly. Fat makes you sick too. Sometimes, especially when I eat meat, food gets stuck. It is very uncomfortable. You cannot eat and drink at the same time either. And you still have to watch the fat and calories and excercise. The surgery is just a tool that makes it easier. I would reccomend the surgery. I would reccomend it overr the lap band. The lapband does not make you malabsorb food, it just makes your stomach smaller. So if you have the lap band, you have to follow a more strict diet than the gastric byp. If you have the gastric byp, if you eat sugary and fatty foods, you will get very sick. I have had an aunt who had the lap band and she lost lots of weight. Her band slipped and she got very sick. They removed the band and she gained all the weight back. She is now looking into having the gastric byp. I live in Texas. I have seen people with Texas Medicare get it. But this was 3 years ago. I do not know if they allow it now. I hope it helps.

okay so I'm a picky gamer when it comes to the quality/realism of a game...i bought toy story 3 for PC for me and my son to play after I've seen the movie...i get home installed it and played it...now the only reason i got this was because on gamespot.com, i looked at the game screen shots, and the detail of the character models were amazing! looked almost as good as the movie!...i start to play it, and everything is extremely low polygon, and extremely low quality...what happened??? even the levels i play match the screens on gamespot...but's the level of detail and quality looks like a PlayStation 1 game...i can't find any kind of settings...the game is very basic when it comes to customization...now i noticed in the actual game files, there are folders for each individual model...so i go into the buzz lightyear folder...there are model files that say "buzz lightyear" that are 500KB, and there's one that says "buzz lightyear high" and it's 3 megs! that's a good size for a game model...so it's like the files are there but not being used...any suggestions??? I'm stumped...i researched and for some reason no one else has this problem. and it's not my computer...my specs are windows xp service pack 3...4 gigs of ram...intel dual core 2.0GHZ, and an nvidia geforce 8800GTS, I can run just about anything on ultra quality without any lag...so...HELP!!!

Its not that fact that people hate the butch attitude (being a protector, more dominant), its the style I think. I would defiantly date someone with a more protective dominant attitude if they actually dress like a woman. You could try dressing a little more like a femme. That would attract more women, and it would give them a chance to meet you for you. Try to find a style that suits you that is not too masculine or feminine. Even if you don't want to change your style I would say go to a gay bar. There are many women there who would love a butch ! I have had contacts for almost a year. They are soft contacts & they never hurt unless i a)flip them inside out OR b)wear them longer than 1 1/2 mths. Very large lump in dogs leg? Help!?

Three weeks ago I took my 7 year old mastiff into the vet because her back left thigh swelled up about twice as big as normal literally overnight. She had begun limping 4 days prior, but i umed she slept on it wrong or twisted her ankle. But that morning when it was swollen she was crying and holding her leg completely off the ground. Our vet examined her and ended up taking xrays and a biopsy of her tissue. When he cut in to the tissue for the biopsy the swollen area popped and leaked out fluid. So our vet and the other vet decided to remove the metal plate she has in her leg due to a pevious injury. They were uming her bone was having an allergic reaction to the metal plate. I took her in for her two week check up and the swelling went down but know there is a huge lump in her thigh that is very hard. Her thigh is about 2x larger then it should be. It feels like bone. And she cannot bend her knee hardly. She is still in a lot of pain. The vet said to take her home and in two more weeks if there's no improvement he want to give her another xray and actually take the biopsy. It's almost time for her appointment and there is absolutley no improvement. I'm considering taking her to a orthopedic specialist instead. Can anyone help me figure out what this might be?

My border collie licks everything. How do I stop it? HELP?

I have a 6 year old border collie that constantly licks EVERYTHING. She likes to lick wet things- the bathtub, snow covered boots, etc. There is a possibility that she could be thirsty, but she has 24/7 access to a water bowl that we have made sure that she is drinking out of. When the family is relaxing in the living room, she will nonchalantly lick the carpet! The whole family feels terrible because we are all constantly yelling at her, maybe 20 times a day... But she doesnt understand. Normally she is a very attentive and tuned in dog, and she is not overspoiled, so we know she just would not ignore us. She just mopes away sadly and licks something else! She licks peoples legs, licks the floor in the kitchen even when nobody is cooking, licks walls, doorhandles, EVERYTHING! We cant put hot sauce on stuff like some people might say, because some things that she licks we cannot put hot sauce on (the cat). What do we do to break her of this habit?? Also, I know border collies need a lot of stimulation, and we normally take her outside to play fetch and do agility for several hours everyday, but right now she has a hurt hip. Cold for a little more then 3 weeks?Im tired of it!?

I have had a cold for a little more then 3 weeks. I started out with a bad sore throat and then stuffy nose. I still have a sore throat once in a while and my nose is still stuffy and once in a while can get runny. I at first had a really bad cough sometimes it was dry other times there was phlegm. I don't have a bad cough now but there still is phlegm and sometimes dry. I don't have fevers. When will the cold go away?

Trying Out For High School Football?

I'm in my junior year and will be a senior next year. I have never really played organized football before, though I have played the sport. I have tossed the football around at the beach and recently played touch football in gym a couple months ago. I was shocked when I scored a touchdown after being thrown the ball from half field. Why does bipolar disorder have such a bad reputation?

I, myself am bipolar and it's nothing like it's been presented to people. I simply have bouts of depression along with bouts of hyper activity. with meds, it's completely stabilized. I teach in a suburban school where we had 100% AYP last year, but our neighboring school (which is urban) is doing poorly and sending all of their students to us. Students from the home district tend to have parental involvement, though sometimes I don't see it to the benefit of their grades. I rarely see the out-of-district parents. Our school is pretty and clean, and we get lots of funding from grants. I have more textbooks/workbooks than I know what to do with. Student attitude can be cruddy, but I think that's a middle school thing -- most say they want to go to college. Their parents mostly went to college. We do have 29-34 kids per cl in our school, though.
