I'm having problems with wifi?

At our home, we have a linksys cisco which works great when it does work. We have had problem for awhile and it's been getting really annoying. Sometimes it works. We all have itouches and we occasionally get it. I don't know if its the router or what. And we also have a hard time connecting to it to.
