What do you do if you are talking to someone....?

what do you do if youre talking to someone.. and they don't quite know who you are... and say your name is lindsey and there was another lindsey.. and the person you are talking to thinks that you are the other lindsey then starts talking shi* about you but he doesn't realize that he is talking about you... what do you do.. advice anyone thanks?????
